Lev Shelo's debut CD, "Or HaOlam" is now available! See the "Store" tab for purchasing!
Hoping to bring a fresh new sound to Messianic music, true to Jewish music traditions with a modern musical spin, uplifting in its message and filled wih the Ruach of HaShem (the Spirit of God), Lev Shelo has recorded their debut CD entitled, "Or HaOlam" meaning, "Light of the World". Their name, Lev Shelo, means "His heart" and their intended purpose; to proclaim God's truths, make a way for His healing and salvation and draw His people back to their God and His mashiach (messiah), are woven into each melody and every line. The band members (Corry Bell, Mark Keller, Tony Warner and Matthias Rykert) have a strong commitment to their craft, to the people of God, to those who need Him, and to God Himself.
Sit back and relax as you enjoy the worshipful melodies of Kadosh Atah and HaTov Shimcha. Sing along, or even dance to, Hava Nagila, V'haer Einenu and Yigdal Elohim Chai. Avinu Malkeinu will take you to a place of profound understanding of our Father and passionate worship, then release you to the Sh'ma for some childhood memories and reconnection to our Jewish ancestors, along with favorites from the Jewish community such as Osse Shalom Bimromav (Oseh Shalom) and Bar'chu. The T'filat La'Adon brings the universal "Lord's Prayer", in Hebrew, to Jew and Gentile alike, and can easily be incorporated into a liturgical service. Yeshua El Yakar, sure to become a favorite "love song", presents the Bride to the Bridegroom as we invite Him to take His place on the throne of our hearts (El kes libeinu kach makom). Enjoy the "conversations" between the vocals, the guitar, and the violin.
As the band was deciding on the song selections and arranging each piece, careful consideration was being made as to the ease of duplication for congregational worship. The melodies are simple, yet deep and worshipful. Each song is meticulously crafted and arranged, performed and executed with style and giftings that make the music and the message come alive!
